I am writing to let you know what a wonderful experience I recently had while your company handled my move from NY to AZ. I worked with Joe Barney and he is beyond amazing. In today's world you just don't get the kind of personal attention Joe provided. He knew I was anxious about the move and if I didn't call him every day, he called me to make sure I was OK. He is kind, friendly, professional, funny, and gets the job done!
I have moved several times over the years as my husband transferred with his job. I have never been as happy as I was with your company. The movers handled all of our antique items with great care and everything arrived on time and nothing was broken. That has never happened before! I know how difficult it is to pin down a date and time when you are moving a small amount of goods but somehow Joe managed to do it, including coordinating with my family in NY. I can't say enough good things about Joe.
I was also impressed with how the customer service department followed up to make sure everything had gone well with the move. Overall, the most positive moving experience I've ever had. A million thanks to Joe and the rest of the team that helped make my move a success.
I will gladly use your services again and recommend you to anyone I know that has a move coming up. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions or comments.

Thank you for all you assistance with my recent move. Everyone was very professional and courteous. The guys who came to pick up and deliver the furniture were very careful and treated my belongings as if it was their own. I would definitely use American Van Lines again for any future moves.

I just wanted to write and tell you how happy I was with my moving arrangements and final move. Jonathan Mullen was my Customer Service Rep, who hand held me through the process. And he is certainly qualified to do that. Thomas Gubitosi was my Quality Assurance guy, who I relied on to do some revisions. Both of these guys certainly earned their salaries with my move. In fact they both deserve a raise!
I had not utilized a moving service for many decades. With this important new job offer I had to make certain that all went smoothly. Especially since my new employer had offered a budget for my move. I was going to be as resourceful as possible. I began my search contacting numerous companies including The Pod people.
Not one moving company called me or emailed me back. I guess business was that good for them. I had decided to secure a Pod to move. Then all of a sudden I received a phone call from Jonathan of American Van Lines. He was not only delightful to deal with from the get-go, but very informative with comparisons. For only a few hundred dollars more I could have your people disassemble my furniture and actually load my items onto the truck. Sooooooo much better than intruding upon my friends to load a Pod properly.
Thomas helped me to inventory my items. And then re-inventory again. Poor guy. I felt so badly. But I needed to get it right. He put up with my numerous emails and phone calls with such a professional demeanor too. Never indicating that I was a bother. I know I was, Thomas. You're such a patient guy.
Whenever I felt there was a glitch, Jonathan or Thomas would tend to it. I emphasize the "I", as they may have not been glitches at all. These two employees of AVL are to be commended for their professionalism and personable styles that are much needed in today's working world.
It was smooth sailing with the pickup and delivery of my items, from Colorado to Illinois. Thank you, thank you, thank you from the bottom of my heart Jonathan and Thomas!
You two are THE BEST!

Joshua, every aspect of my move, from your courteous, knowledgeable first phone call, you making the arrangements for my move virtually immediately, staying in touch with me consistently by e-mail was exceptional customer service. I wanted to thank Matthew Magro for all help and availability during my move with American Van Lines from Savannah, GA to Baton Rouge, LA. It was nice when my phone calls were answered and my concerns were addressed. I was especially happy when the initial estimate and the final move price came to be very close; he certainly did a great job estimating the cost of the move and I did not have any unpleasant surprises in the end. Matthew personally provided a great service to me, and I appreciate it.

First off let me say John Wetzler with American Van Lines was a fantastic agent. Every single time I called bugging him all panicked or stressed because of nightmare stories I had heard about moving companies he was constantly there to reassure me that our move would be a good one. He never once acted frustrated with me and always answered back any emails or phone calls in a timely manner. Scott the driver/mover was super friendly and attentive to our furniture and making sure it was well taken care of. He showed up on the day he was supposed to arrive to pick up our furniture. We would definitely use these guys again. Out of every company we got estimates from and who came out to do a visual estimated American Van Lines was still the best priced and they were actually the only ones who did not bad mouth another company. I was told dealing with a moving agent was a nightmare, but not in my case. Having a moving agent was great. I was also told if a company asked for a deposit up front that was bad too and again it was not in my case. We had a great moving experience across country (we moved from El Mirage, Arizona to Fort Bragg, North Caroline which was 2240 miles) and made friends in the process.

Thanks to Matthew's expert assistance, I was able to quickly and efficiently arrange an emergency move from Middletown, OH to Springdale, AR this past week.
I was knee deep in coordinating with hospitals and physicians for the care of a family member. In between hospital visits, I had to find a reputable moving company, pack the apartment, and then clean and clear the family member's apartment. Lots to do, with little time to do it. All the while, not certain of when my family member would be released from the hospital. A flexible and friendly mover was the answer.
Once I spoke with Matthew , explained the situation, I was impressed with his knowledge of the moving business. Although the load was small, he still gave me and my requirements his undivided attention. You quickly provided an estimate and made all of the arrangements to meet my uncertain and changing schedule.
He made a difficult situation easier. Without his guidance and professional knowledge of the moving business, I doubt my move would have went as smoothly.

Mark, the movers you sent were perfect. They were friendly and moved fast. I was really impressed - they showed up right on time and never complained. They arrived in Murfreesboro just as I did, and unloaded boxes wherever I requested them to, even though the boxes had not been marked as to room designations. I only wish you had sent a bigger truck, but I guess i wasn't clear enough about all the stuff I had! My fault.
You get an A for customer service! I leave a really satisfied customer and will recommend you to my friends who need to move

I just want to thank you for referring my move order to the company you did. They were wonderful. They came in got right to work. Transported my belongings to the next destination without a scratch and worked just as timely unloading.
They were nice gentlemen and really were courteous.
I would refer your service to anyone on move coordination. I thank you once again for all you did and the concerns I had, you shared. Not many people genuinely care about their services past the money aspect.
You're one in a million. Thanks Again!!!
